EllisDon’s onboarding experience is designed to help new employees quickly connect with the people, knowledge, and tools they need to succeed. Our Onboarding Roadmaps for Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Coordinators, Project Accountants, and Mechanical and Electrical Project Managers provide immediate access to technical training and role-specific resources that support both job readiness and long-term career growth. 

A Sustainable Welcome: Nature Bee 

Reflecting our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, our new hire welcome kits feature eco-friendly, locally sourced products from Canadian and minority-owned businesses. For example, custom Nature Bee Swedish dishcloths replace imported plastics—supporting both environmental stewardship and community enterprise.  

Growing with Purpose: Project Forest  

Through our continued partnership with Project Forest, we honour each new EllisDon team member by planting a tree in their name. In 2025, we expanded this initiative to 2,000 trees, supporting reforestation within the Siksika Nation Community Shelterbelt, helping restore native ecosystems, provide traditional medicine and food plants, and offer shelter from harsh climates.
